Woke up to another really frosty morning today, you know its cold outside when you wake up and your nose is cold and you want to snuggle down under the duvet. We are still not having the heating on in a morning but today we gave in and switched on, the house is toasty warm just now a nice 21*c.
Nothing much doing again this week even the horse couldn't be bothered to come for his carrot this morning. I do hope he is nice and warm under his blanket.
The water in the butt was frozen solid and the lid had fallen in during the windy weather last week, so thats under about 3" of ice!!
We have nothing planned for this afternoon except a nice Roast Chicken dinner at teatime with enough left over for tomorrow and a curry on Tuesday. Think I will bake scones and flapjack while the oven is on. My Grocery challenge is still going well and the Sealed Pot is getting fed on a regular basis and gaining weight weekly lol. I'm already thinking about stepping up the grocery challenge with another idea for next month, more about that later..........
