My week

Its been quite a boring week here at Chelmarsh, the weather has been a bit of a mixed bag of heavy rain and sunshine. Just the type of weather for a sausage dinner. I found these Weight Watchers Sausages on offer at the supermarket and as we are really trying to have a low fat diet thought I would give them a go.

They did look a bit pale in the pan so I added some leeks from the garden, sadly we are at the end of these now but they have been so tasty. I browned them all off before adding some gravy, this made them look more appetizing.
We dished them up with some lovely veggies and new potatoes and I have to say they were really quite nice.  I would buy them again and at only 1 pro point each well within the diet.
I had a dozen eggs to use up so I made these Yorkies for my Dad, 4 dozen in fact and we swapped for 4 cartons of chopped tomatoes :-)
Which I used to make some Spicy Tomato Soup at Zero pro points its a nice tasty lunch.
And today is my oldest sons 36th birthday so we went off to the pub for Sunday lunch and Mum and Dad came too. We went to the Mayflower, Bawtry  the food is really delicious and a special treat. Back to low fat tomorrow!

 Here is the birthday boy!

Happy Birthday David xxxx

Thank you for looking
