A couple of days being fed up has resulted in another patchwork bag, the purple fabric was just a few offcuts from making Willows bunting and cushion last year and the black is a piece I bought from Dunelm, I have used some batting to give it a slightly padded feel. It feels lovely, I shall take it to Thimbles tomorrow to show it off. I had a look in my box and found some blue to go with the remaining black to make another for our sale table at a fundraising event next month.
You can just about see the button detail. Sorry the photos are rubbish they are taken with the ipad and the light in my craft room isn,t good.
Nothing to report, just the run of the mill housework and cooking, its still blowing a hoolie and raining at some part of everyday, mustn,t grumble...my son in Plymouth is having it much worse.
Take care and stay safe and warm.

I love the colors. I'm getting a lot more housework and knitting done as it's too nasty to go out anywhere, with the weather and then road closure by us it's been essential journeys only.
ReplyDeleteThe housework is getting done but I am itching to get into the garden and tidy up but its far too soggy!
DeleteThat's all we can say about the weather, isn't it? Always someone worse off than us. You are on a roll with those bags, Karen! Keep going! Lx
ReplyDeleteAt least we dont have to travel to work anymore, we are lucky to able to keep warm and dry. Loving making these bags! X
DeleteThe bag is very pretty, should sell like hot cakes. I found one half finished at the bottom of a plastic storage box this morning and finished it off.
ReplyDeleteThank you Pam, I have just started the blue one today, then I need to learn another design.
DeleteI bet the bag's snapped up at the fundraising event. Poor Archie isn't getting his usual exercise, just a quick dash out and then home again. Who wants to walk far in this horrible weather? Not me.
ReplyDeleteI hope it will sell so I can buy more fabric, I am really enjoying sewing again. Poor Archie, Im sure when the westher picks up he will be back to his usual routine.
DeleteLove the bag. Did you use iron-on or sew-in batting?
ReplyDeleteThank you Helen, I used sew in batting....Hobbs Heirloom, I bought a roll from ebay ages ago, its just the right thickness and weight for these bags.
DeleteAnother gorgeous bag, hope you are not feeling so fed up now xx
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous!
