Weekly Menu



My menu plan for this week is again based around whats already cooked or prepared in the freezer.

Beef Goulash, potatoes and veggies - tonight

Home cooked Ham with Salad and jacket potato

Homemade Soup & Homemade Crusty Bread

Chicken Curry & Rice with Peshwari Naans

Homemade Cheese and Onion Quiche, Jackets & Baked Beans

Lasagne portions with Salad

Scampi, Chips & Peas

Roast Pork Dinner

On Friday night we went to my sons for tea, my frugalista daughter in law Loubi made a fab selection of homemade pizza with garlic bread and salad, she also made this delicious concoction below

I have called it Loubi Ruby Salad. it consists of finely chopped red cabbage, beetroot, red onion and red kidney beans and for a simple dressing she used sweet chilli sauce with a dash of cayenne pepper, it was gorgeous, one to be repeated over and over again.  It was soft yet crunchy, sweet yet spicy, it really tickled the taste buds!!
